Light Up The Fair

Drive through a massive light tunnel and enjoy a spectacular light show with synchronized music! Bring snacks and drinks and stay in your cozy car as you enjoy the show!
Holiday Story Time at Barnes & Noble
December 6, 13, 20, 27
Kick off the holiday season with Santa Storytime on November 30, followed by a Polar Express Pajama Party and weekly events featuring everyone’s favorite Grinch, Charlie Brown, and Pete the Cat! Times vary and story time events are free.
City of Florence Christmas Tree Lighting
December 2, 2025
The community is invited to take part in an evening filled with festive traditions, family-friendly activities, and holiday cheer. Santa Claus will arrive and join Mayor Aubuchon to officially light the city’s Christmas tree! This year will feature free photos with Santa, Story Time with Mrs. Claus, and a Letters to Santa station for young ones to send a special note to the North Pole! Musical entertainment will be provided by the RA Jones Middle School Choir and the Florence Community Band.
City of Independence Christmas Walk and Parade
December 6, 2025
This event promises tons of fun for all ages! Register for the 11th annual Santa’s 5K Fun Run at 1:00, or if you prefer a slower pace, enjoy the strolling Santa, a Christmas Market, and an ice rink (also open on Friday & Sunday) to start off the festivities! The tree lighting ceremony, Christmas parade, and the Christmas Walk will end the evening.

Help spread holiday cheer to local families in need! Donate new and unwrapped toys to help make every child’s Christmas a little brighter this season. Bring your gifts and get a photo with Wildcat Santa!

Join the team at Dave & Buster’s for a holly jolly magical morning filled with fun and festivities for the whole family! Two ticket options are available, with the Santa Ticket including a breakfast banquet, a $10 Power Card with 3 hours of unlimited video game play, a personal photo with Santa, and other fun activities!
Holiday Craft Expo 2025

Located at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport in Florence and featuring baked goods, home décor, statement jewelry and custom apparel, plus holiday ornaments and locally inspired art and photography! Free tickets are available – there’s something for everyone!
Boone County Public Library Events – Throughout December
There are so many holiday-themed events at the Florence and Scheben branches this holiday season! Check out these: ’Tis the Season, Holly Jolly Sing Along, Victorian Christmas Crafts, and the Elf Workshop! There’s something for all music-lovers to enjoy with four events in the Holiday Concert Series across several locations!

Join the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the May Festival Chorus, and an all-star cast of soloists for Handel’s Messiah, a beloved performance featuring joyful movements like the famous Hallelujah Chorus.
The Wonder of Christmas
December 12 – 14, 2025
Presented by Citygate Church, The Wonder of Christmas features flying angels, live animals, and stunning visual effects that bring the story of Christmas to life. Before and after the show, visit “Wonderland,” Cincinnati’s largest indoor Christmas walk, with over 150 inflatables! Tickets are not required for general admission, but seating is first-come, first-serve until capacity has been reached. VIP tickets are available for purchase and include reserved seating, a light-up toy for guests 12 and under, and a keepsake ornament.
Holiday Pops with Cincinnati Pops Orchestra
