Boone County 4-H & Utopia Fair – June 22-30

Join the excitement at the Boone County 4-H & Utopia Fair, happening from June 22nd to June 30th at the Boone County Fairgrounds on 5819 Idlewild Rd in Burlington. Get ready for a week filled with thrilling entertainment and family fun! Indulge your taste buds at the food trucks, experience the adrenaline rush on the rides, and admire vintage vehicles on display. Witness the impressive livestock shows and catch the excitement of motorcross racing. Don’t miss out on the Miss Sweetheart Pageant, the lively Frog Jumping Contest, and the exhilarating Demolition Derby. With something for everyone to enjoy, the fair promises to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Kenton County Fair and Horse Show – July 15-20

Experience the fun and tradition of the Kenton County Fair and Horse Show, where there’s something for everyone to enjoy! From thrilling track events like Truck Tug, Demolition Derby, and Tractor Pulls to the elegance and skill of the Horse Show featuring All Breed and Open Contest Shows and Cowboy Mounted Shooting, there’s non-stop action to be found. Witness the crowning of royalty at the Miss Kenton County Fair pageants, with events catering to contestants of all ages, including the adorable Little Miss/Master Contest and the glamorous Miss and Teen divisions with evening gown, swimsuit, and interview segments. Don’t miss out on the 4-H and FFA shows, livestock auctions, and exhibits showcasing the talents and hard work of local youth.

Church Summer Festivals

·       St. Pius X Summer Festival – July 12-14: Breathe in the scent of grilled food, sip on a cool drink, and enjoy the easy laughter of friends coming together at the St. Pius X Summer Festival. Celebrate all the things we love about summer and make some memories.
·       St. Henry Fun Fest – Dates TBD: The St. Henry Fun Fest is an annual highlight, offering a ton of enjoyable activities such as Pie the Priest, Cornhole Tournament, Quilt Raffle, cake walk, live music, and much more. Stay tuned for updates on this year’s dates and events.
·       Holy Cross Parish Summer Festival – Dates TBD: Experience summer fun at the Holy Cross Parish Summer Festival! Enjoy exciting events like Kiddieland, Queen of Hearts, Ducky Downs and Holy Spirits, along with live music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks.
·       St. Cecilia’s Labor Day Festival – August 31 – September 2: Ranked as the #1 summer festival in Northern Kentucky, the St. Cecilia’s Labor Day Festival promises an unforgettable weekend of entertainment. Attendees have the chance to win a 2024 Artic White Corvette Stingray 1lt in the grand prize raffle. With live music featuring tributes to Journey, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Toby Keith, and Jimmy Buffet, as well as games, rides, and delicious food and drink, this festival offers fun for the whole family.

25th Anniversary of the Independence Day Celebration – July 5-6

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Independence Day Celebration in Memorial Park, and there’s no better time to join in the excitement. Bring your family and friends out for a weekend extravaganza filled with everything Independence does best. On Friday night, be dazzled by circus performers, groove to live music, enjoy thrilling rides, and savor delicious food and cold beverages. Then, on Saturday, get ready for a day packed with excitement, including a car show, lively parade, more live music, games, mouthwatering food, refreshing drinks, and thrilling rides. And to top it all off, prepare to be amazed by the best fireworks show in NKY lighting up the night sky. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable celebration of freedom and community spirit!
